Matthew 23-24

Matthew 23: Jesus tells the people to trust what the legal experts and Pharisees tell them, but don’t do what they do. He recognizes that they know what they are talking about, but their actions don’t reflect what they say. He then condemns the legal experts and Pharisees for all of their actions, calling them hypocrites. This chapter has a lot of examples of all of the bad things they’ve done.

Matthew 24: As Jesus leaves the temple for the last time, he tells his disciples that the temple will eventually fall. His disciples follow him asking when this could happen. He warns them to beware of deception, that they will hear of wars, famine, destruction, death, and loads of other really bad things. He tells them what the sign will be of the coming of the Human One (all of this will lead to final judgment). This chapter ends with Jesus telling his followers to remain faithful because he isn’t sure when the Lord will come for them.

  1. You actually make it appear really easy together with your presentation however I to find this matter to be actually one thing that I feel I might by no means understand. It seems too complex and very extensive for me. I’m having a look ahead for your subsequent post, I¦ll attempt to get the hang of it!
