Nehemiah 10: The signing of the pledge they made at the end of the previous chapter. Four groups sign it: Governor Nehemiah, priests, the levites, and the leaders of the people. The rest of the chapter focuses on what this covenant means and the things that they agreed to. Many of these come from the Torah.

2 Chronicles 32: This is the final chapter to focus on Hezekiah. In this chapter Judah is invaded by Assyriaās King Sennacherib. Sennacherib sent letters to Jerusalem mocking God and telling them no gods were able to save people in the past and it wouldnāt happen this time either. Bad move on his part. God sent a messenger down who utterly destroyed Sennacheribās army. He went home in disgrace and was murdered by his sons in his temple. The rest of the chapter focuses on the last years of Hezekiahās rule, which was primarily good. Ā

2 Samuel 7: The notes in the CEB study bible indicate that verses 1-17 of this book is āthe most important theological passage in the books of Samuel. God announces through the prophet Nathan a covenant commitment to the dynasty of David.ā The text indicates that David desires to build a temple for Godās chest (the Ark). God talks with the prophet Nathan and tells him to not let David build the temple. Instead his son will do it. I want to also include a picture I took of a little sidebar from the CEB study bible:
